1is all our righteousness.
2We have all faded as a leaf, because of our iniquities;
3and so the wind carries us away.
4And now, O Lord, thou art our Father,
5and we are the clay, we all are the work of thy hands.
6Be not wroth very sore, and
7remember not our sins for ever.
8And now, behold, look upon us, O Lord,
9we are all thy people.
10If our sins have risen up against us,
11O Lord, deal thou with us for thy name's sake,
12For our sins are many,
13wherein we have sinned against thee.
14Yet thou art in the midst of us, O Lord,
15and we are called by thy name;
16forget us not.
17O thou our hope, O Lord, who savest in the time of troubles,
18why shouldest thou be as a stranger in thy land,
19or as one native-born that turneth aside to a lodging,
20as a man that sleepeth,
21as a strong man that cannot save?
22Be merciful, O Lord, unto our unrighteousnesses,
23and our sins remember thou no more.
24O Lord, I am carnal,
25sold under sin.
26In me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth
27no good thing.
28For the good that I would, I do not,
29but the evil which I would not, that I do.

1and I delight in it after the inward man.
2But I see another law in my members,
3warring against the law of my mind,
4and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin.
5O wretched man that I am!
6who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
7I thank God through JESUS CHRIST.
8For where sin abounded, grace did much more
9abound.
10O Lord, thy goodness leadeth me to repentance.
11O give me repentance at the last, that I may recover myself out of
12the snare of the devil, who am taken captive by
13him.
14The time past of my life may suffice me
15to have wrought the will of my lusts,
16walking in lasciviousness, revellings, drinkings,
17and in the rest of the excess of riot.
18O Lamb, without blemish and without spot,
19who hast redeemed me with thy precious blood,
20by that same blood have mercy on me and save me;
