1Hope thou in God, for I will yet confess unto him [who is] the health

1Even to old age I am he, and even to hoar hairs will I
2carry you: I have made, and I will bear, I will carry and
3will save.[Is. 46:4]
4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and our sorrows
5he hath carried.[Is. 53:4]
6He was wounded for our iniquities, he was bruised
7for our wickednesses;
8The chastisement of our peace was upon him: and by his stripes we are
9healed.[v. 5]
10All we like sheep have gone astray, every one to his own
11way have we turned aside; and the Lord hath laid upon him the iniquities
12of us all.[v. 6]
13And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will hear; while they are

15Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, and not that he
16turn from his ways, and live?[Ezek. 18:23]
17Turn ye, and turn yourselves away from all your ini-

27Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his
28thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him,
29and to our God, for he is great to pardon.
